Warning to parents: This dentist has a "no parents policy" - parents must stay in the waiting room. The dentist won't come out to talk to you either. My 7 y.o. had to have a filling and I was not permitted to accompany him, when I asked why I was told because "it makes kids cooperate better". This might be true, but as a nurse, I can't tell a parent they CANNOT come with their child. Especially in these times, parents can't trust even healthcare professionals to be alone with their children - esp. when gas and anesthetics are involved. Bottom line, this all sounds fishy to me and I won't be going back. And because of the past posts, I'm sure the "no parents policy" is to protect the shoddy work of the dentist.

For those who've had a bad experience with Bay West, try Redwood Dental in Warren. I've been a patient there for years, as has my entire family. You won't be disappointed.

David again posting another review on Dr Samar mokhayesh. This is mythird review of this dentist. When Dr Samar mokhayesh got done putting a composite filling in molar 31 she bonded access filling between the front of molar 31 and the molar next to it. I couldn't floss between them. Had to drive back to her office to have her take it out. I was very disappointed at her. So i figured it wasaccidental mistake. Next visit she worked on molar 18 and the molar next to it.she did it again getting filling caught between those molars she worked on. Onlythis time she ruined molar 18. She some how removed a large portion of tooth enamel from the back of molar 18. It looks nothing like before. Dr Samarmokhayesh was willing to fix it. But told me if she fix it up i won't have the correct bite. I filed a complaint to the Michigan Dental Association committee. The ruling was in favor of my dentist. The committee doesn't know the knowncause of it. No explanation from them.

I will never go back to this dentist. I been to her and her quality of dental work is poor. She is sloppy when putting the composite fillingsin the molars. I caught her making mistakes in getting some fillingstuck between my molars she worked on. Then i noticed molar 18 backchewing surface enamel has been sheared off completely down.I filed a complaint to the MDA committee and they done absolutely nothing for me. They believe that Dr Samar mokhayesh performed the procedures according to standard care. They gave me no explanation based on what evidence was presented. I amso ashamed at the way the committee chose to handle this. I hope in the near future they will come to their senses. And grant me the appeal that i deserve.because their is no doubt in my mind that Dr Samar Mokhayesh did it. I don'trecommend this dentist to anyone. I rate her an F.

Hi my name is David. I am an old patient of Dr Samar Mokhayesh. She is theworst dentist i ever been too. She got composite filling stuck between the frontof molar 31 where i was unable to floss it. I had to drive back to her office soshe could take it out. I was upset with her so i figured it was an accidental mistake on her part. So i decided to have her work on my other two molars . Andagain she stuck some filling between molar 18 where i couldn't floss it either.I notice the back chewing surface enamel has been sheared right off . She shortened the back of it down so much where i get discomfort and bothers mewhen i chew on it. I totally regret having her work on my teeth. Everyone out theretake my word for it. She will ruin your guy's teeth . Highly not recommended dentist.

Horrible! I will never take myself or my children back there again. The front staff is quite rude and the practice is nothing more than a "money grab" establishment.
