Chesterfield Community High School, accredited by the Department of Education for Standards of Learning, is a public school that offers a variety of educational opportunities, including advanced placement classes, college-preparatory curriculum and career training for its students. The high school offers several sports activities, such as basketball, golf, cross-country, and track and field. Chesterfield Community High School has several academic departments, including math, social studies, English, health and physical education, career technical education and science. In addition, the school operates a guidance department. It is a part of the Chesterfield County Public Schools, which serves more than 58,000 students in over 60 schools.
