So much fun. I haven't found another workout I enjoy more than kickboxing. Ilovekickboxing has great facilities and an amazing staff! Always a great workout

10 out of 10!!! instructors are amazing and encouraging! upbeat music and overall a great time. this is the most nonjudgmental gym i have ever experienced! i would recommend this place and location specifically to anyone!

I would recommend I Love Kickboxing to anyone that may find themselves in a fitness rut or just wants to start getting healthy. Recent events really threw off my fitness and this has turned out to be an awesome way to get back in to being active and making great new friends. I can't say enough positive things about I Love Kickboxing! 11/10, would highly recommend! There aren't enough stars to express how happy I am with I Love Kickboxing! Awesome people, great atmosphere, and a great way to start my morning!

I have always wanted to try kickboxing. I found out about iLoveKickboxing and it was AWESOME! The atmosphere pushes you to do the whole workout, beginning to end. It is a total body workout without you even realizing it (until the next day). The staff are so helpful, motivation and downright AWESOME!!! I have found a place I can enjoy working out, laughing, and feel completely comfortable; I can be myself! I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone!!!

I just attended my first kickboxing class yesterday and I absolutely loved it!! I’m not gonna lie I was a little nervous about going because I’ve wanted to get fit for years but was always overwhelmed when I entered a gym because I didn’t know what I was doing or even how to get started. I didn’t feel this way at all here though because the instructors were awesome and really made you feel like they care about you on a personal level. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed or had that much fun during a workout either. I highly recommend this place and to anyone out there that has heard of this and simply shrugged it off or is afraid of going you’re definitely missing out. I can’t wait to go back to my next class tomorrow!!

I've been wanting to go for years, and finally decided to just do it! I suffer from major depression, mental illness, and anxiety, and I thought this may be a good, positive, healthy, fun way to help manage it.
Sometimes, it's hard to take that first step, but from the time I called to make my initial appointment to get all set up, I was excited. I talked to Hannah, at the Chesapeake location, and her enthusiasm and bubbliness is infectious. She was very friendly and knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions.
My first class was with Daniel. I walked in and was immediately greeted by name with a smile. We discussed the basics and he asked questions regarding my reasons for coming and goals. He actually seemed very interested in what I was saying, and definitely eased my mind and doubts a little. He took his time with me, and was extremely personable. When class started, he made sure to help me out, and gives alternative exercises as not to overwhelm you.
After day 1, I was hooked! I ended up getting a year membership and now look forward to working out. Daniel, Hannah, and Liz are great instructors and seem to really enjoy their jobs. They are all very nice and enthusiastic. They know you by name, and encourage you and push you through.
My body is getting used to moving again, but each day it becomes easier and only gets more fun as you begin to really focus more on your technique and strength. It has helped alleviate some stress and has helped with the anxiety a bit, as you socialize for partner drills. It is a great release and a way better way to get in shape than the boring old gym.
I attend the morning classes during the week, mostly, so there's usually about 6-12 people there...I've heard the afternoon and evening classes are a bit more crowded. And talk about a judgement free zone...If you are self conscious, no need to be. Everyone has been very friendly and kind, and each class has all sorts of shapes, sizes, ages, and fitness experience/levels. I never feel weird or out of place.
I would HIGHLY recommend I Love Kickboxing, especially the one in Chesapeake. A little pricey, $145 a month, for a year membership, but well worth it if you are commited and have that fire. I'm not big on working out, but I really look forward to my next class and challenge. There are plenty of classes, and they run an hour, on time. The first 15 minutes are rough, and is the hardest part of class. A quick jog, and some cardio. Then you stretch it out and hit the bags for about a half hour. After that, you partner up for a few exercises before winding down with a little more stretching. It's a full body, well rounded workout, and definitely gives you a feeling of accomplishment and empowerment.

The place is the best, when i had my first experience was so painful but in a good way, The Trainers are friendly and encouraging its just like a family, and the people who work out there are friendly too we can chat and just work out together. The reason i love kickboxing is to get toned and improve my health. I recommend to anyone who likes to work out to check out this place its the awesome and i love it. Its a place to get a good sweat and make friends.

Many of us have a membership at another gym where we may go workout on the treadmill, elliptical or whatever. When we leave we do not feel like we have accomplished our goal. This is why I decided to try kickboxing. I went to my second class and it was just as good as the first one. Each time I go, I can do a little more. So, I decided to spend my money wisely as a VIP member so I can do something that I love and that I know will help me reach my goal. I recommend this facility to anyone who is looking to do the same.
