GBBC has been in the Great Bridge area of Chesapeake since 1957. It has been our honor to serve the people of Chesapeake and help minister to people across the globe. We believe in missions at home and abroad putting feet and hands to that end. Here at Great Bridge you will have endless opportunities to grown in your faith. Bible studies, missions projects and many different ministry teams are available to become part of. We encourage our people to find out their gifts and talents, then serve with them. GBBC has been a stable place to worship and serve. In the history of more than 55 years, we have had but three pastors. William (Will) Langford is our present Senior Pastor. Our previous pastor, Rev. Charles L. Moseley, ministered here faithfully for 38 years. Pastor Moseley went to be with his Lord in 2015 and is remembered as our dear friend, faithful Senior Pastor and Pastor Emeritus, a valuable friend and mentor to Pastor Langford. Rev. W. A. Richardson was the founding pastor.
