I found Mr. Stomel on this website. He replied to a question about a summons my brother received. Mr. Stomel to was very professional since the beginning of the case. He always kept us informed and every time we called, he actually answered the phone himself. My brother got 4 tickets (leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident, failure to observe a signal & unsafe vehicle), plus one summons for obstruction, which is a criminal charge. Two tickets carried some points. Mr Stomel got 2 tickets dismissed (Including the leaving the scene of an accident) and we had to pay for the other 2 but he negotiated with the prosecutor and my brother got ZERO points. Also, he got the criminal charge reduced to a municipal ordinance. We were very satisfied with the outcome. The only better result would have been if the case got entirely dismissed, which was highly unlikely. I would highly recommend Mr. Stomel for anyone who needs legal representation in NJ. I had charges pressed against me by my wife (during a divorce) that were felony offenses. Elliot had the case downgraded from the state to the municipality removing any possibility of incarceration.
