In order to increase exposure to the quality of work that McNaughton's Gardens offers, the company has participated in the prestigious Philadelphia Flower Show as a major exhibitor since 1986. In the early 1900s, William McNaughton Sr. immigrated from Ireland and began working for a local New Jersey plant nursery. During the year following his move to the United States, McNaughton began developing a 13-acre parcel of land located in Cherry Hill, N.J. In 1929, McNaughton's Gardens, then known as McNaughton's Nursery, was officially opened as a combination wholesale/retail landscape nursery. The company provides landscaping and lawn care services as well as patio furniture. Along with Cherry Hill, the company has a second location in Somers Point, N.J.
