The Lewis-Mason-Thurston Area Agency on Aging operates offices in each of the three counties with a focus on providing long-term care services for seniors and adults with disabilities. We at the Lewis-Mason-Thurston Area Agency on Aging believe independence and dignity are among the basic rights of all seniors and adults with disabilities. We are committed to: * Supporting people so they may live independently * Coordinating home and community services * Identifying resources and services * Assisting people in accessing services Our goal is to offer quality services emphasizing independence and dignity. The professional staff is responsible for fiscal and contract management, program and system coordination and assisting clients to access services. LMTAAA operates Information and Assistance, Case Management, the Home Care Referral Registry, and the Family Caregiver Support Program in all three counties. The agency also contracts for a variety of services in each community. In addition, LMTAAA staff, board and council members advocate for an effective system of long-term care services, collaborating with policy makers and other social service agencies.
