I am from central Washington and went to Ernies Rapid Lube on 8/18/12 for car trouble. I needed to get the 300 miles back home by Moday And it being a Saturday at 4pm the only place i could find open. I thank the employees for taking the time to look at my vehicle but i feel i was taken advantage of. I was told it was either my fuel pump or fuel pump relay and that they would have to test fuel pressure running cold then check again with the engine warm, Understandable yes. Then i was quoted a price of $300 for a fuel pump which i bought alot cheaper at a local auto parts store, and also led to believe that they would have to drop my tank to change the fuel pump but come to find out there is an access under my back seat. Whole job would take 30min. Turns out it was not the fuel pump anyway just a filter on the end of it which i changed myself. For oil changes and such they were fast and very efficient for that i give them 2 stars.
