Riverside Middle School is a part of the Riverside School District and is located in Chattaroy, Wash. It employs a staff of more than 30 full-time, certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes guidance counselors, special education instructors, speech and language pathologists, and health and physical education instructors. Riverside Middle School supports the Rural Entrepreneurship through Action Learning (R.E.A.L.)program, which teaches economic concepts and prepares students by developing their life skills. The school also conducts the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program, which is an international education program that seeks to prevent the use of illegal drugs, membership in gangs and violent behavior in students. Riverside Middle School has an annual enrollment of more than 420 students in grades six through eight.
