Horrible service. Price gouging. They often missed 2nd update. 3/2/2020. I have received a letter from a collections agency seeking payment for changes I never agreed to. Republic Services just make up ridiculous unjust fees. $56.39 for them to retrieve their container. weekly pickup and the are the most expensive service in this area. I switched to another service provider at the end of October 2019 who offers same service for less than half what Republic charges. Since I canceled service with republic they sent me a bill for $56.39 for canceled service, container removal fee, along with administrative fees and fuel surcharge fees none of with I had been aware of prior to service and never agreed to. I continuously get robo calls stating I have a past due balance and they are going to turn over to collections. I have spoken to several of their Assosiates about this matter and on two separate occasions I was told they had removed all charges. Not true. I continue to receive robo calls. I spoke to Eric (operations senior advisory) 1/24/2020 and he informed me nothing had been resolved. I expresses my great frustrations about this situation and how I felt $56.39 was price gouging for container removal. I will definitely be telling everyone I know to not use republic services.

Buyer beware! As long as you are a customer with no needs other than garbage pickup, Republic is OK. We have been customers for decades (the company has changed names a few times). When we moved out of the service area though...BOOM..."that'll be $25.00 per container to pick up". What??! They're their containers! Why should we have to pay them to pick up their own containers? Seriously - go with another provider. Never heard of this ridiculous hidden charge.

We discontinued our service, and they have billed us $25 each for picking up their garbage can and recycle can. I have not found another trash pickup service in the area that charges for this. In addition, we were never told we would be charged for this until we called to discontinue our service. Their service was reliable (although expensive), but this charge is a scam, and we will never use them again.

People beware!!!!! The
Trash people picked up a huge plant stand ...and Removed it from my property.. There are 2 of them and if someone was going to take them they would have taken both...I spoke with the manager and all he would say was, we have someone new on your route...
Really !!!!! And may have thought it was trash... Again really!! What brainless worker would have thought that this was trash. I have see them take wreaths. Brooms, plastic tubs.. And now resorted to Huge plant stands.. ...
What's next?../
Watch your houses they have unethical people working for them and will not return phone calls so I can assume the condone this type of behavior.
