Optometrist Brian R. Lantman, O.D. and his team at Lantman Eye Care in Chattanooga have been providing Eye Care Services in this Tennessee Community for over 18 years.Dr. Brian Lantman graduated with a B.A. from Monmouth College in 1992. Four years later he graduated from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis Tennessee. During school Dr. Lantman kept himself busy by becoming involved in three separate missions to Costa Rica as a member of S.V.O.S.H. (Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity). During his final year of optometry school he was awarded the Project 20/20 Good Samaritan Award as well as the Student Volunteer of the Year. After graduation, Dr. Lantman practiced in Kentucky for over two years before moving to Chattanooga. In 1999 he purchased a practice which was originally opened in 1983.

I have been a patient there for years, however due to an insurance change, I tried another office. What a mistake that was! I guess I never appreciated the amount of time and effort that him and his staff put into my visits. I do now! Dr. Lantman is very kind and knowledgeable and makes you feel at home. His staff is polite and always helpful. They treat you like a friend, not like just another body sitting in the chair. I definately recommend this office to anyone. As for me, I will never stray again.
I visited Dr. Lantman after a friend recommended him to me. I have always had trouble seeing with my contacts due to my astigmatism, also the comfort of the lenses had also become a recent issue. It took a few visits, however it was definately worth it. Dr. Lantman was very patient and had to make a couple of lens changes, however the end result was perfect. I have never seen so well out of conatacts and the comfort is much better. His office people were very friendly and helpful both on the telephone and during the visits. I would recommend his office to everyone.
