Boyd-Buchanan School is a private educational institution located in Chattanooga, Tenn. The school has a faculty of more than 60 teachers and has an enrollment of over 1,000 students in prekindergarten through grade 12. Established in 1952, it includes elementary, middle and high schools. The school offers a college preparatory program for high school students. Its academic courses include Bible, English, mathematics, science, social studies, foreign language, fine arts, and health and physical education. Boyd-Buchanan School s athletics department provides various sports activities, including football, volleyball and soccer. The school has a library that houses a variety of reference materials, textbooks, encyclopedias, dictionaries, magazines and newspapers.
