Provided by YP.comThey've taken care of all of our pets.... 7 dogs and a hedgehog. We love them! All docs, clinical, and admin staff are wonderful... as is Faye in grooming! Everyone is very caring and docs are great to explain things and take plenty of time

Provided by YP.comAs a walk-in patient, I had to take my cat, Stevie Cat somewhere ASAP for an infection in his eyes. My regular vet suggested Animal Clinic East. Dr. Liu was very professional and was so gentle with Stevie. With their hours of practice and wonderful staff, I will be taking Stevie back for all his veterinary needs. Great job to all the amazing staff.

Provided by YP.comI take my dogs to Dr. Craven who is a wonderful vet and an excellent diagnostician. I've also used Dr. Pilkington who has always done a great done. I highly recommend these vets at the clinic.

Provided by YP.comWe always use Animal Clinic East or Animal Clinic 23rd Street. We unequivocally feel so comfortable and secure bringing all of our animals here. We like all the veterinarians but we really like Dr Tony Ashley. I am in awe of the Godliness, patience, kindness, knowledge, and love for our animals that Dr Tony Ashley shows us EVERY SINGLE TIME WE SEE HIM. God uses him for the animals and also the owners!!! I Would be remiss if I didn't give the other Veterinarians, front desk staff, the vet techs, and everyone else at Animal Clinic East and Animal Clinic 23rd Street the biggest thank you for ALL that you have, are and will do for us!!! YOU ARE ALL THE BEST THERE IS!!!

Provided by YP.comI had a super sick old dog that I adore get sick on a Sunday. I took her there and they were so busy she was kept for hours. I got a call from the vet stating the diagnosis. No problem. When I got back to pick up Sadie I was asked to pay and given meds. I then asked if I would see the vet to go over xrays. The receptionist told me no! She then went back to ask if he could see me. He said no! He was to busy! However, he was not to busy to take my $322.00! I was assured I would get a call that evening. Guess what! I did not. I asked for the xrays to be sent to my vet. They were not! I can't speak for the other vets there but Pilkington (or something like that) was a terrible greedy man! I will never go there again! I will spend the extra money and go to River! (the emergency vet)

Mrs. Pizzuto, this is Dr. James Craven, co-owner of Animal Clinic, Inc. of Chattanooga and Medical Director of Animal Clinic East. Your concerns over the negative experience you had at my clinic this Sunday are completely valid. I apologize that you were made to feel that a doctor did not have time for you, that is inexcusable. Our clinics always accept walk-ins with the understanding that appointments and critical-status pets take priority on wait time. Though there is often a wait for walk-ins on the weekend there is no excuse for a doctor not taking the necessary time to see you and answer your questions about Sadie’s x-rays and condition after treatment. There is also no excuse for not seeing you and going over your bill as you requested at checkout. Even if a doctor was seeing another patient they could have seen you personally when they were available. Please know that we make every effort to complete all callbacks by the end of the working day. I assure you these responsibilities are expected of all the doctors working at either of our clinics. I was concerned that you indicated your x-rays and diagnosis were not sent to your regular vet as you requested, but I see now that your regular clinic is our Animal Clinic Downtown location. We are the same company with two clinic locations. We share the same system and the same access to all medical notes and x-rays in your file. This should have been explained more clearly to you. In closing, this is not the reputation I want for my associate doctors, my clinic or myself. Please accept my apologies for your experience. Sincerely, James Craven, Jr., D.V.M. Provided by YP.comLove Animal Clinic East! I have had nothing but positive experiences for the care of all of my animals. They have shown professionalism and true compassion during each visit, whether it was an emergency situation or just a routine visit. A special shout out to Dr. Leonard who I have seen most and would recommend to anyone! I would not go anywhere else! I have 10 years experience with this facility with multiple pets (family members). They are highly deserving of 5 stars!
