We ordered a custom rug rack from Display Corporation (for thousands of dollars) for our new showroom in California. One month later we received a pile of damaged junk with many missing parts via a common carrier tuck line. The rack was shipped incomplete and had not been properly packed by Display Corp The driver left the rack at our showroom while we were at lunch. Dan Hougland the owner of Display Corp. was told of the damage and he quickly got me off the phone saying he would take care of it. The next day the check was quickly cashed and all future calls and emails to him by me were unanswered. He did send one email saying he had been in a car accident and then he lost his phone and he could not get the missing or damaged parts for us. It became clear that he had no intention of taking care of the problem that he created. Additionally, I never received a BOL or shipping receipt and could not process a claim with the freight company. He completely left us in the cold and it was obvious he is a conman. I do not believe this is a legitimate business. Rather it appears to be run from his garage with no money or accountability. We are now out thousands of dollars by the conman Dan Hougland. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
