Learning never stops at Chatsworth Montessori. From 6 weeks through Kindergarted, concrete objects provide deep understanding of abstract principles. There is an integrated cirriculum designed human development. Children recognized as individuals and their education is not restricted to lectures addressed to the whole class. They are given the freedom to explore and excel, the responsibility to learn and teach, and the opportunity to collaborate and serve-ensuring their deveopment into educated, virtuous yound adults. Students explore, refine motor skills, increasing language in a language rich environment, and move toward independance in a safe, warm, stable enviornment where a child aquires the skills to "do it myself". Let us take the child out to show him real things instead of making objects which represent ideas and closing them into cupboards.
