Hickory Tree Delicatessen was founded in 1978 by Lou Napolitano, his wife Joann, and father, Ralph. Almost forty years later, the deli is still very much a family owned place with Lou and Joann’s daughter and son-in-law, John and Stephanie still working in the store. They’re best known for their Sloppy Joe sandwich, which was an old family recipe, passed down by Lou’s father-in-law.
