Stopped by here with some friends when I was in town over Christmas break. Laid back place with an awesome beer selection (craft), bar/restaurant/retail store. My friends said they just opened their back room up as an expansion. Nice selection of wines. Food was great (nachos!) & sandwiches. Nice dinner menu from the looks of it as well. We were there during lunch. Friendly service, plenty of street parking, heated patio. I'll be back next time I hit up Charlottesville.

Wow, found this place on a craft beer website, what a find!! First of all this place is a cool hybrid of a craft beer bar & natural foods restaurant(though with upscale bar food too) I was completely overwhelmed by the incredible retail selection of craft beers from all over the US & Europe and the 14 drafts featured a great variety of options for any taste, they also had a cask-conditioned ale on their beer engine! The food was great as well, my wife had the fish & chips which was tortilla chip encrusted and served with a home-made Pico de Gallo, and I had a phenomenal Bison Burger on a Pretzel bun. We also shared some amazing all-natural wings. The server was extremely friendly & helpful and recommended some unusual Belgian beers for my wife that she loved. We visited twice while we were in Charlottesville and will certainly be back when we visit our family in the spring. Five stars!!

Very simply put: Beer Run = awesome.

I wasn't too sure about this place when I first pulled into their parking lot. It looked like nothing more than another average carryout. But, once inside I found an awesome beer and wine selection, great beers on tap, and excellent food choices. The bar is very inviting and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I HIGHLY recommend Beer Run!

If you haven't been to Beer Run yet...what are you waiting for!? This is truly one of the best places in Charlottesville. Great food, great rotating taps, and friendly staff.

I would not condone going to this establishment at all! They sell beer to MINORS! Hopefully this will change soon!
