We love Continental Boarding! We have been taking our two dogs here for quite some time now and have never had a bad experience. Our dogs go about once a week and always come home happy and tired. We can always tell that they've had a fun day by the way they are acting when we pick them up. We've tried other doggy daycares in Charlotte and we were not nearly as happy with our experience as we are with Continental. Both play areas for the big and small dogs are the perfect sizes. They have kiddie pools for the dogs to play in when it's hot and they also have an indoor area for when the weather is bad. They know our dog's names and have since the very first day we went in. Our dogs have boarded overnight here a few times and they always have a blast. The only con about Continental is that they don't have webcams so we can watch the dogs while they are there. We really wish they did!! Other than that, we have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. We love it and so do the dogs!

unprofessional

The people that work here are very unprofessional and false. The young lady helping me actually rolled her eyes when the phone rang and begrudgingly answered it!! I WILL NOT be using this facility again. I do not want to leave my baby with someone who as soon as I turn my back act like he's a burden.

Dangerous when it's hot

I will no longer be taking my dogs to playcare. The staff completely disregards the southern heat and leaves the dogs outside in the hot sun. The water is not replenished enough and upon inspection, it's dirty and warm. The inside area is not much better. It's hot, poor water and no air conditioning. I'm really looking forward to the opening of the new pet center near the airport.

This review is obviously written by someone that has never been to our facility and is promoting their own business. We have air conditioning with our indoor playcare areas and take the utmost care of our clients while they are here with us. Out water supply for the dogs is constantly filled and our pools for our dogs are constantly filled for their enjoyment. It is sad when a useful tool such as the internet is used against a business in a false manner for someone elses gain. Sincerely, Dave Grindstaff Owner

By far the BEST facility ever!!

I've been bringing my mixed breed dog here for close to a year now and I have nothing but great experieces. I bring my dog to playcare during the week which is a blast for her. This is the only facility with natural outdoor playcare, no turf. They are one of the few facilities that have indoor/outdoor runs for the dogs instead of being in a crate like some facilities. This place is better than boarding at a vets office because the dogs have more room to move around and I like that I can bring my dog's bed, toys, rawhides and treats with her. The staff is always very friendly and very dog knowledgeable as well. I'm impressed every time I go there. I wouldn't recommend any other place. They are by far the BEST there is!

Highly Recommended!

I've been taking my dogs to Continental Boarding for over a year and think they are just fantastic! My dogs never come home sick and they always seem so happy to come there. They love playing with the other dogs in their "playcare". This facility is owned by a veterinarian and her husband and they provide expert care. The staff is very friendly and spends a lot of time loving and playing with my dogs. I have tried other kennels in Charlotte and have had very bad experiences but with Continental I feel safe leaving my dogs in their hands.
