The company was founded in 1949 as Bright Leaf Industries and originally manufactured gas fired tobacco-curing equipment for the U.S. market. The company offers a full range of products for tobacco curing needs including HeatX, heat exchanger conversion kits and furnaces, Bulk Curing Barns, Boxes, Racks, Conventional Curing Equipment and Burners and Delta T Control System. BulkTobac is a division of Gas-Fired Products and is headquartered in Charlotte, N.C.
