G&P was founded in Greenwood, S.C., in 1936 by H.P. Mabry and Arthur Rush. W.T. Cassels, Jr. and his family purchased the company in 1986. The company operates terminals in Charleston, Columbia, Anderson, and Greer, S.C., Savannah and Atlanta, Ga., and Charlotte, N.C. It also operates terminals in Johnson City, Tenn., and Norfolk, Va.
