Nevins is a nonprofit organization that serves more than 400 individuals with developmental disabilities. It serves individuals with various developmental disabilities, such as mental retardation and illness, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, autism and learning disabilities. Nevins community alternatives program is an adult day support program that provides assistance with acquisition, improvement and retention of adaptive, socialization and self-help skills. The organization also features rehabilitation and employment programs. It is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities in organizational and community employment and older adult services.
