"Where teaching and nurturing is a catalyst to learning"

General Info

At Nana’s Place, children have the opportunity to gain practice in cognitive, language, fine motor, large motor, social emotional, and self help skills through Developmentally Appropriate Practice techniques. These skills will help your child build his/her self-esteem and prepare him/her for future skills. Each child is treated with respect and love and is offered a positive learning atmosphere. Pre-School Age Range: 3 years to 5 years This program is designed to offer your child the skills and techniques necessary to engage and prepare your child for an awesome Kindergarten experience. The core curriculum of "Nana's Place" preschool program is the A Beka Program in addition to supplemental academic experiences designed by the Director. In order to provide the highest quality care and education, we promote parental involvement and committment as we believe it is absolutely essential. Parents are asked to participate in field trips and parent meetings. Parent -Teacher conferences are an integeral part of tracking your child's success and membership and participation is required in our Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). The goal is for every child to leave our preschool reading and performing math skills on or above Kindergarten level. While these academic skills are impressive, we want to produce well-rounded, socially adept students as well. We shape the "whole" child. Toddlers Age Range: 15 months to 30 months The toddler program has been developed to assist your child with maximizing his or her developmental experiences.
