Friendship Trays, founded in 1976, is a nonprofit organization that delivers more than 750 meals daily. The organization serves senior citizens and handicapped and convalescing people. It offers containers with meat, fish, vegetables, carbohydrate and desserts. Friendship Trays also provides containers of milk and juices. The organization sponsors over 80 faith-based communities and organizations, as well as civic agencies and businesses. It is licensed to solicit donations in North Carolina. Friendship Trays operates its corporate headquarters in Charlotte, N.C.
