She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine and specializes in obesity and medical weight management. She has experience with weight loss having lost 80 lbs with diet and exercise and knows first-hand that weight loss is not easy and "1 size does not fit all". Dr. Covington offers comprehensive, physician supervised weight management and is an expert in the field of obesity and overweight. She is a member of the Obesity Medical Association, The Obesity Society, and Charlotte Medical Weight Management expert panel.
