The main reason we went was for the pork belly and we were NOT disappointed. It has to be the best pork belly we've had! My main entree -- the duck -- was a bit more fatty than I enjoy, but still was an amazing dish. We also indulged in the cheese/meat tray and the quality and selection was great. The service was prompt, courteous and inviting. Everything from the drinks down to the decor was just perfect! I think we're heading there tonight! :)

We went on a prix-fix menu. The bread was delicious but we weren't asked if we wanted more. The groupon said wine pairings-plural-we were told only one glass of wine came with the meal when we asked for more. Carpaccio was good. Nice spin with horseradish. Flounder was good. My husband's duck had no sauce-very plain, nothing special for the price. The bread pudding was average. Ok for the price. Service was so-so. We were one of the first folks in the restaurant at 6 pm and were placed at the very back at a table for 4. We had a party of two. It was strange. My decision is not to go back when there are so many other awesome places in Charlotte. I was not overly impressed with the food or service. Maybe it was because we were there with a groupon.
