The Landscape Management department, governed by the City of Charlotte in North Carolina, offers a range of grass median and tree pruning and planting services. The department owns and operates several cemeteries, as well as is engaged in the sale of grave space. It also provides sign and sightline obstruction services. The Landscape Management department is responsible for the management of turf, shrubs and irrigation systems. The department tree management division is engaged in the design and implementation of planted intersections. The City of Charlotte s government administers animal control, economic development, emergency management, health, tax assessment, mapping and transportation departments.
