Established in 2003 to initially market out of spec DOT temporary concrete barrier, we've quickly expanded our scope to include traffic control devices. Our rental fleet features Changeable Message Boards, Portable Traffic Signals, Arrow Boards, Truck Mounted Impact Attenuators Aka; TMIA, TMA or Crash Truck. All trucks are built by Carolina Traffic Devices and meet or exceed NCHRP 350 requirements. Our fleet also includes AirStar Construction Lighting, Triton DOT approved Water Filled Barrier and Concrete Barrier. Carolina Traffic Devices possess a surplus of DOT approved concrete barrier wall that is approved in numerous states. We occupy stockpiles located throughout the southeast. CTD owns barrier wall and crash attenuators ( Crash Cushion ) approved for, but not limited to, VDOT, NCDOT, SCDOT and GDOT. All attenuators & barrier wall meet or exceed NCHRP 350 requirements. We also carry a wide variety of DOT approved delineators for barrier wall and other applications.
