This is by far my favourite Hibachi restaurant to visit. The customer service I have received each visit has been outstanding. Our favorite waiter is James. We go probably once every 3-4 months, but he recognizes us everytime and never fails to say hello and give my daughter a big hug. The prices are pretty affordable, especially since my plate always seems to last me about 3-4 more days after we leave.



Some of the cooks use the same jokes, but I find this is moreso because some have gotten in trouble from customer complaints when trying to change the jokes or add some spiciness to them. I definitely recommend making reservations and asking for James, you will not regret it and he will give you the BEST customer service in Charleston.

i have been going to this resturant for years, the food is great but the show gets old. The same jokes are used over and over but i gave four stars becuse the food is awsome.

Miyabi use to be the best Japanese Steak House in Charleston, but their customer service needs improvement. I made reservation for a party of 8 for my mother's birthday for 6:oo; our tables were not ready until 6:50. (I made reservation because if you dont make reservation they inform your wait time is anywhere between 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minute.) When we finally arrive to the table the waiter took forever to take our order and apoligize repeated for her action. The food was ok, but because of the customer service I never returned.

The is the best restaurant in Charleston. It has been my favorite for many years. The food is wonderful and the serves is great!

My daughter moved to the area in September and a group of us went there. We did not have reservations and the wait was long, but we sat in the bar area and the time past quickly. Every time we visit the area we will go there for dinner. The cook was great, we had 2 teenage boys with us and they enjoyed the dinner also.

I took my boyfriend and father to Miyabi's for dinner and they were amazed by the show and preparation of the food. My father is an avid all-you-can-eat buffet fan and is now in love with Miyabi's. I enjoy myself everytime, i have never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seated with or without a reservation. It is a family resturant that all ages will enjoy.

Nice people, but the food is overpriced, over salted, and over oiled. Nothing is fresh tasting, it is a good place to go if you want to be entertained only.

I have been taking my family and friends to Miyabi's for over 20 years. Of course, it was Kyoto's on Sam Rittenberg the first time a friend took me there in 1981 for an excellent meal. I can always count on the excellent quality and preparation of our meals, as well as the wonderful service from their staff. As always, with an establishment of this quality, make reservations! I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes or so when I have made reservations in advance. I thank them for 25 years of great food and service, and look forward to many more!

On 2/14/06 I took my two oldest children to their favorite restaurant - Myabi's. We were told it would be an hour wait. One hour and 35 minutes later we were led to a table with only two seats available. I refused to sit in this limited space and went back to the front desk. I was told that we had already been assigned seating and that upcoming tables were already assigned. We would have to wait. My children went home hungry, confused and crying. They did not understand how your staff could be so mean. That their favorite restaurant could do such a thing. If I had not had my children with me I would not have been able to control my temper at such treatment. Shame on you for spoiling a father's Valentine's dinner with his 6 and 8 year daughters.
