I came in 3 minutes before closing today, having told the man behind the desk a red-head lady would be coming in just before closing to have him look at a crack in the plastic chrome of my grill. He recognized the red- head as soon as I got there and immediately went out to survey the damage. Within 30 seconds Jude, as his name turned out to be, had essentially fixed the grill. Yeah - there are 2 small cracks in the plastic chrome that would require replacement of the entire grill to totally fix but, like he said, "just don't bother to look at them. The grill itself is fixed." He would accept no money at all. Still being in a hand splint I was in tears when he fixed my car as I love it and I cannot help the surgery I had to have but I did not want a constant reminder of the mishap - and now I don't. Thank you, Jude! You are my hero. Louie and Sons has always been and remains the best as far as body shops are concerned in Charleston to this day and I have lived here a long time.

Great shop!!!!! I recently brought my truck to Louie & Sons for some repairs. My insurance company tried to get me to go someplace else because this shop was not on their preferred list. I had several people tell me this was the place to go. The staff were very helpful in explaining the process and worked with my insurance company. My truck looks like new. I will never go anywhere else.

I took my 2000 Acura to Louie and Sons because I liked the look of the shop as well as the quality of the front office staff. I had approximately $3500 worth of damage and the insurance company was trying to nickel and dime me into getting a cheap repair job. Louie and Sons fought to get a top quality job done and didn't allow the insurance company to bully me around. They handled everything both professionally and with my best interest at heart. They completed the job quickly and I have never seen such quality workmanship. I was very impressed with everything. In addition to good work they also back it up... my trunk flooded soon afterward due to a missing plug left out from the repair. All I had to do was take it back up to them and they not only fixed the problem that day but they also detailed my trunk and entire car free of charge. I will always use them for all of my auto body repair. I plan on entrusting them to the restoration of my 1967 Mustang also if that gives you an idea of just how happy I am with them.
