General Info

Dr. Worthington is a Charleston native and a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), where he also completed his surgical residency. Dr. Worthington completed a fellowship at the Montreal Neurological Hospital at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and joined Neurosurgery and Spine Specialists of Charleston (formerly Neurology Neurosurgery Clinic) after returning to South Carolina in 1985. He is board certified in neurological surgery. He serves as medical director for the CyberKnife program at Roper Hospital. In addition to the practice of neurosurgery, Dr. Worthington is an actor, a published author and active member of the Charleston arts community.
