My experience almost mirrors a previous post on google reviews. Cobb's does not deserve one star. The work was sloppy at best. They didn't mix the paint which was Sherwin Williams Harmony paint. (Not cheap). So there was a huge contrast of colors. They did not take remove the switch plates. Very poor cutting in job. They had dripped paint all over the place. They did not remove their shoes. I had debris all over the carpet leading to the bathroom as well as all inside the tub and floor. What a mess to clean. They also left without saying goodbye. I called and asked if they were coming back after checking the bathroom. He said no they were done. I told him about the color contrast. He told me it should dry fine.
Well it didn't. I texted him a few pictures and asked how to fix. His response "You may need to get another gallon and make sure they shake it well and you need a second coat." (BTW only a half-gallon was used and it now ruined because they did not stir it properly.)My response you don't plan to fix this? His response "What can fix. All that paint came out of the same can. You have to talk to the people at the paint store. Normally it blends in I don't know what to tell you." My response you are a professional painter. It was not the paint you failed to stir it well. I requested a refund and got no response. My husband called Monday morning. Cobb's had no remorse about the botched job. They refused a refund. Told my husband if we wanted the switches and fixtures cut in we should have removed them ourselves. He had too many living social deals to paint with all the details. So to get this straight. We hired a professional to paint a 10x10 room. We had him paint a very small bathroom. But it was up to us to stir the paint properly, remove all switches, do a second coat, and clean up the drips and dirt left behind, I am not sure why we would pay anyone to do such sloppy work. We paid for a turnkey job. Not for us to split the work.
At the end Cobb's offered to come back but just like other reviewer we didn't want them back in house after the first experience and for their response to our complaints. They did not acknowledge their sloppy work. They actually justified it by stating we should have done all the preparation and blamed it on the paint. That didn't give us any confidence they would do a good job if they returned. We told them we would give a bad review and he states he couldn't afford for us to do that, but he certainly wasn't will in to give a refund or a partial refund. As customers we are the only losers in the matter. We are out of his fee and two paint cans of harmony paint. And have to repaint the entire bathroom over. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I hired them with confidence and found them to be very responsive and pleasant to work with. For me a well done paint job is worth the extra years of service it will provide.

For the past few weeks we have done extensive work around the outside of the church and parish house (rectory). We have replaced, repaired and painted the outside (top) trim of the church as well as other needed painting. The church chimney was also repaired. Also, outside painting of the trim and shutters of the rectory was done. We are very satisfied with Cobbs Painting for the professionalism that they showed in their work. We look forward on calling upon them again when needed.

I tried to paint the house myself but it was a total mess. So I had to call someone to come and fix my "excellent painting skills". A friend of mine recommended that painter and when I called them they came right away. After a long fight with the paint left after me they finally finished and the work they`ve done was amazing.
