      Dr. Anita Ramsetty's primary background lies in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Endocrinology and Metabolism. However, she also holds a strong interest in nutrition, lifestyle, and preventive health, especially as it relates to diabetes and heart disease. She is certified as a Culinary Medicine specialist, thus is able to better guide interested patients towards food and lifestyle-related options for treatments that have been proven helpful. At MUSC, Dr. Ramsetty is engaged in clinical work, teaching students, and directing student-run, free medical clinic CARES which treats uninsured patients.
