Charleroi Area Middle School is an educational institution works for the academic, social and intellectual development of students in grades six through eight. The school s educational program includes instruction in art, mathematics, geography, reading and social studies. It also conducts classes in science, physical education, information technology, foreign language and music. The school operates a student council, as well as offers a range of athletic opportunities. Charleroi Area Middle School organizes several fundraising events. The school is a part of the Charleroi Area School District, which has a nine-member board and also operates elementary and high schools.
