Chardon Middle School offers classes from grades sixth through eighth. Its curriculum includes arts, computers, business, industrial arts, English, family and consumer sciences, foreign languages, health education, math, music, vocational and physical education, science, art and craft, and social studies. It offers student assistance program that includes homework help, guidance services, and addresses drug and mental health issues. It has a drama club and student council, and provides various sport programs. Its Heath Awareness for Teens is a six-week program that introduces students to many activities that promote a healthy lifestyle, such as yoga, karate and aerobics. The school s parent support groups include parent-teacher organization, Chardon Schools Foundation, Athletic Boosters and Crescendo Club. The school enrolls more than 750 students, and is operated by the Chardon Local School District. The middle school is located in Chardon, Ohio, serving Geauga County.
