Engineering Consulting Services, also known as ECS Corporate Services, is a group of six consulting firms specializing in the related fields of geotechnical, environmental and construction materials engineering. Founded in 1987, the six subsidiaries in the ECS group employ a staff of more than 1,000 people, including registered professional engineers and geologists, certified laboratory technicians and construction inspectors, field engineers and support personnel. Based in Chantilly, Va., ECS operates full-service branch offices in the Eastern, Midwest and Southern United States, ranging from Pennsylvania to Illinois and from Texas to Florida. The company s corporate office is located in Washington, D.C. Engineering Consulting Services is a privately owned company and employs nearly 250 people at its headquarters in Chantilly.
