Came home and went in search o...

Came home and went in search of a place to find crab legs and to my disappointment, found this place. Over priced to say the least given the quality or lack there of. 2 stars is probably generous, but the empty plates were kept off of the table pretty regularly and the soda glass was never empty so I have to give them propts for that. I was glad to see the price of our drinks was $1.35 for soda and $.60 for hot tea given that the food was nearly $16 per person (less $2 per plate from coupon found on their website just print the picture as nothing happens when you hit the print coupon button). We went during the peak dinner period but the place wasn't very busy and I think some of the food had been out in the tray since dinner hour began. One bite of the teriyaki chicken and I thought I had bitten into a bone, but it was only the dry outter edge of the skinless chicken. An interesting selection though of sea snails, calimari, blue crab and duck which I don't think I've found at most other buffets. I wanted to get a sea snail and just dig the meat out and keep the cute little shell but didn't think I could stomach the extraction. The crab legs, my only reason for wanting to go out, were the biggest disappointment. None to begin with, then when finally filled the small pan, they were nearly flavorless and soggy shells were difficult to break to get to the meat. The buttery substance used in lieu of butter was probably oil and had almost less flavor than the crab. The best part was probably the sushi and sashimi selections and the almond cookies, though the individually wrapped almond cookies were all broken as if the box fell off of the plane on it's way to the buffett. So..... I leave you with the advice I will take myself; try somewhere else next time you're in the mood for crab legs.

Seafood Titlewave!

Pacific Seafood Buffet is a seafood lovers paradise!

We are repeat customers from Tucson! - and are looking forward to our next trip!

Hot fish, cold fish and much much more!, I recommend the crab legs and red rock fish - both are delicious however you must be fast they disappear the minute they come out of the kitchen ( we did not find any lobster).

They also serve chicken dishes a little beef and fresh wok dishes you put together and are cooked on sight, sushi bar, salad, veggies ( the hot green beans are on my plate every time I pass bye I can't get enough!!!) and fruits are also available. We enjoyed the cakes both looked dry but were a mouthful of moist delight looking like simple pound cake the Lemon was a savory joy to eat, my favorite was the liquor layered square. I look forward to trying the green tea ice cream next time, I hear it is a favorite of many.

* Note take 60 exit Country Club south ( Mesa) the street turns into Arizona Ave. (Chandler) head to Elliot on the right hand side before the corner you will find the restaurant facing north.

it is also a good idea to arrive around 6pm ( give yourself a relaxing hour to enjoy the seafood goodies Pacific has to offer) on weekends to avoid the dinner crowed that arrives around 6:30pm. This is both true of parking and seating about 7pm there will be a line to get in.

We made a night of it and took in Hales' live theater show in Gilbert "right next door." Three left turns from Arizona Ave. on to Elliot, to Gilbert, to Page and you are there!

http://haletheatrearizona.com - we have been to two show both a memory to cherish.

Friendly, clean and fun.

Great place to take the kids and family if the great selection of mediocre food satisfies everyone's tastes. The greeter is quick and friendly as was my waitress and the food trays are kept up by a roving monitor with headset so, except for the crab legs, I never saw any tray completely empty of food. But that's the problem! The rice was great but every other dish was either fried in almost rancid, old-tasting oil or so bland that one bite was enough to prevent overeating. The BBQ area has several great-looking selections but I almost broke a tooth trying to chew a couple samples. Even when the tub of newly boiled crab legs arrived, the meat was grey and exploded into a hundred pieces from age. Although their website shows photos of lobsters, uh-uh. None in site. Overall, I couldn't tell is they just didn't care about food quality or if their suppliers were giving them really bad supplies but considering their use and multiple reuse of old frying oils, I think these are some great people working for someone who is cutting corners and it shows.
