      General Info
      I am originally from Romania, Bucharest. I graduated as an M.D. at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Carol Davila, Bucharest in 1992, after completing 6 years of required medical education. My training started in Romania with: 1 year internship in Pediatrics, followed by my first residency training, in Pediatrics, and then by the second residency training, in Gastroenterology. I emigrated in 2002 in USA. I completed a residency training in Pediatrics at University and Health Science Center from El Paso, TX, graduating in 2008 (my third residency program). I became an American Board Certified Pediatrician in 2008 and I am a fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics since then. I worked initially in Private Practice as General Pediatrician, then as full time hospitalist, as well as part time in urgent care practice. We opened our practice in June 2012. Our practice’s motto, which is part of our philosophy, is: “Excellent care for our patients. “We got it covered from A to Z”. We do believe that part of the good care and respect for our patients is reflected by our policy of: waiting time for the doctor no longer than 5 minutes and visit face to face with the doctor no shorter than 30 minutes. We want to make sure that your questions are all answered and the reason for being here is taking care of properly. We are seeking and love the service of quality and not quantity. I do have privileges at 4 hospitals and I do follow my patients there: - Chandler Regional Hospital - Mercy Gilbert Hospital - Banner Gateway Hospital - Banner Cardon /Desert Hospital I also work during the weekends at a Pediatric Urgent Care. At AZ Pediatrics, we do practice medicine based on American Academy of Pediatrics’ standards and regulations. That’s way I do encourage all my patients to visit www.aap.org and www.cdc.gov .
