In response to shannon P,, my cousin has been renting from Desert Wide Properties for a few years, not out of choice but out of circumstance. Having any business dealing with this company, will most likely be one of the worse nightmares any renter could have come true. Regarding the mistakes on the lease, they may not have been mistakes. The lines this company blurs are very close to unlawful,, be aware and do not rent from this company if at all possible.

This company is terrible to deal with. No one is ever available to speak with. The secretary will transfer you to a voicemail and then nobody calls you back. You have to chase them around to get business handled. The managers dont know what they're talking about and I've had to correct them about inaccuracies on my lease (s) on several occasions. WORSE property management company Ive ever dealt with!

This company is awful to deal with! If you are considering working with Desert Wide Properties, don't do it. They are arrogant and very unprofessional. I wish I had never rented a property that was listed through their company. They did nothing to prepare the property upon our move-in. Terrible communicators and also have no integrity.

They hired a company to come and do basic landscaping and yard work. This company put chemicals in the ground that actually killed my moms beloved dog that visited for a few hours.

They delay in getting professionals. Out to the property to do any sort of maintenance. On another occasion, we could hear rats up in the ceiling. Another failure on the property management to get a reputable company out to deal with the issue. Stay away from Desert Wide Properties at all cost!!!

We rented a house through Desert Wide for 2 years. When anything happens in regards to the property, Desert Wide has to play phone tag with the actual homeowner before any decisions can be made. The homeowner we rented from lived out of state and always took days/weeks to respond.

When the refrigerator broke, Desert Wide took nearly a week to get it fixed. When asked repeatedly about the delay, Desert Wide pushed blame onto the owner. A refrigerator is a mandatory appliance deserving of an emergency fix. We ran into the same issue when our air conditioner broke in April; they only rushed the service request when I threatened to call my own repairman to fix it and withhold the cost from my rent.



Another side note, Desert Wide won't force the homeowner to actually repair the house when something breaks. We had several clay roofing tiles blow off the house in a storm, leaving others dangling off the side of the house, 20 feet in the air.

AVOID!!! Zero star!!! where to begin.... HORRIBLE company and horrible service. Do yourself a HUGE favor and AVOID renting any kind of property from those clowns. They do NOT care, they do NOT reply, they do NOT repair what needs to be repair and if they do- it takes 2 months. they just want you to pay rent and shut up. The way they treat tenants is outrages. I cant describe how bad was my experience with them! They made my renting period at that house the worse period of my life. I'm so glad i do not rent from them any more and i advise no one to rent through them.

All the bad reviews here about this company are 100% true. those people are clowns and they have no clue what they are doing.

I am not sure if Prayer power would help desert wide properties but anything is worth a try.... Some of the people over there sound like voice-over actors/actresses when they answer the phone,, and unfortunately not very helpful. ,what can victims of desert wide properties do if prayer does not help the situation?,,maybe a victim can try to organize which issues fall under what categories,,, and find out what agencies or departments cover those categories,,,. For instance the person listed over there for their "designated broker",, doesn't that person need to be accountable for some of the situations? How do people check with the AZ Department of Realty?, besides the BBB - ,. Does the Attorney General Office help with any of this?

Desert Wide Properties would be interesting to anyone who would like to study a case sample of abnormal psychology. One might expect to meet a bad person here or there in life, but it’s rare to see an entire business filled with people with a common passion for business "ethics" based on having absolutely no conscience or decency whatsoever. Renter and Property Owner BEWARE. If you see positive reviews for this company, be assured it is the very same people connected to their office.

DON'T BELIEVE THE 5 STAR REVIEWS! (they probably had their own employees post them) This business deserves NO stars - can't even count the amount of unlawful things they do and try to get away with. They have 43 COMPLAINTS on the BETTER BUSSINESS BUREAU!!! BBB states that they recommend NOT dealing with this company!!!!! That says it all..... This complany should be audited and shut down!!! We are in process of pursuing a lawsuit with this company as previous tenants and will do everything in our power to see that all previous tenants/owners get some justice!!!! I have been an active licensed real estate agent for 7 years. I work with renters and landlords, and I have been both a renter and a landlord myself. I have also worked previously as a property manager. I do not recommend Desert Wide Properties for either the home owners or the renters. According to them they do manage 1100+ properties, which may sound great, but as a result they are spread way too thin and do not provide the service they promise they will. For all those 1100+ homes they only have two people who handle maintenance concern notifications. I know of a specific situation where a home had a large water leak, that the maintenance team allowed it to go over a week without any repair, and the renters had to threaten to move to get it repaired. Yet, the owners approved the repair on the day after the leak was reported. As an owner it is never in your best interest to have your property management team allow water to leak for more than a week, thus causing your repair expenses to grow with each day not treated-this specific situation ended up with a costly mold remediation and drywall repair. The renters in this situation were then made out to be the bad guys to the owners so that the maintenance team could save face. This is not the company you want to hire if you want your property to actually be taken care of by the maintenance team. Also this is not a company you want to rent from, especially if you want your concerns quickly addressed, and if you want to be treated fairly. They are not professional, do not hire them or rent from them.

How does a property management company loose all your keys, garage door opener and association key? Very easily apparently. I was selling my house and so I ended my contract. Boy they did not like that. Apparently once that happens all your belongings go missing. So now I can not get into my OWN house. I have no way of getting in. Their suggestion is that I pay for a locksmith out of my own pocket. I have spoken to both the General manager and property manager and they think its not their fault. If the keys don't make it to my hands how can it be the homeowners fault? Is there a tracking number?... no

What was the exact date it was sent out...I don't know. These are the sort of airheaded nonsensical responses you will get. Oh and God forbid you say they should reimburse you. All the fees they have been charging me before is valid but if they mess up ..oh no..your loyal business means nothing. No reimbursement for my garage door or association key...no locksmith ...NOTHING. NEVER use these crooks! Loyal former customers mean nothing to them!

Before moving to AZ from CO we found several properties we liked on DesertWide's website. We stopped in their office first thing on a Monday morning and they were extremely helpful with getting us to see the houses we wanted to see. Even gave us a free map of the area that I used A LOT!

BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY AS THEY WILL TAKE ANY OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE MONEY OFF OF YOU. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR THINGS THAT ARE NOT RELEVANT TO YOUR MOVE IN/OUT AND HAVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. WHEN YOU ARE TRANSFFERED TO A PROPERTY MANAGER THEY WILL NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE. LEAVING A MESSAGE DOES NOT HELP BECAUSE THEY DO NOT RETURN CALLS. DO NOT BE SUPRISED THAT YOUR PROPERTY MANAGER WILL ONLY WORK THERE FOR 1-2 MONTHS BECAUSE THEY TOO SOON FIRGURE OUT THAT DESERTWIDE IS COMPRISED OF SCAM ARTIST. THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN REPORTED TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU 38 TIMES IN THE LAST 36 MONTHS. HOW DOES A COMPANY LIKE THIS STAY IN BUSINESS?
