He is president of his state medical association, practicing in the East Valley for more than 30 years and is a frequent lecturer and contributor for medical societies, public organizations and television networks, including CBS Your Health, FOX Medical News, KAZT Morning Scramble, TV3 AzFamily and TV15 Sonoran Living. Education is the key to state of the art medical care.” says Dr. Discont, who is a former residency director and adjunct clinical professor for medical schools since 1986 and regularly completes two to three times the Arizona annual educational requirements. After attending Ohio State University and University of Arizona, he earned his doctorate at Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, performed his surgical residency in Mesa, and specialized surgical training in Phoenix, Baltimore, Detroit, Cleveland and Tucson.
