I have been with Illini for 5+ years. Always good service. New ownership sometime last year even better service. We have never had a pickup missed.

I had the same problem PR had. I am a new customer as well. First week the pick-up was fine. Second week no show, third week no show. So I decided to give them a call. They told me that according to the gps and the driver that he showed up but the garbage wasn’t out. However I put my can out the night before pick up. The lady on the phone continued to tell me he was there and that he had went all the way down the road to look for the can and he had came out on the other side of the horseshoe....not sure what she was talking about because my road is a dead end. So I canceled my service and tried to get my 2 month deposit that I had paid up front and she acted like she had no idea what I was talking about. Do NOT recommend.

I had terrible service problems with my old trash company and went with Illini Recycling because they were local and family owned. So happy with my choice. The pick up guys are consistent and friendly and when I had a problem with pick up the office took care of it for me right away! Plus I love doing business with a local company not some 800 number outfit.

I have been using Illini Recycling for four years and the service has been great. They show up at the same time each week, the price is right, if I call with questions they are always able to answer them, and the free recycling drop off is very useful.

They have a real problem picking up our waste on their schedule. If they pick up at all that week. When you call to ask they treat you as if is your problem they can't fulfill their responsibility. They do not give you what you are paying for, but bill you for it just the same.

Site is clean, bins are clearly marked and drop off at any time is possible. This business deserves our patronage.

DO NOT USE ILLINI RECYCLING!!!They said they would pick up some furniture for me but they didn't and then denied that they said they would, so now I will have to pay someone else to haul it away (and it will cost more now because it has been sitting out for over a week and it has rained twice since then).
