I'm not from Champaign but when me and my husband were planning our date night to Champaign, your video and menu really caught our eye! I am really looking forward to this evening!

My family made reservation to dine at Buttitta's on Mother's Day.However we were not informed that it would be a limted menu.When we arrived we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated.Then we waited another 15 minutes for our waiter to greet us.He took our drink order and there was another 15 minute for our drinks to come.During this wait we notice other waiter who was'nt that busy and a manger walking around doing nothing.Our waiter informed us that he was over extended.When my food arrived it was room temperature.I called the owner John Buttitta's he took my name phone number and I never heard back from him.

We had our family birthday gathering at Buttita's Sunday night. We were not disappointed. The salmon was perfectly cooked, pastas were fantastic, and the service was very good. There were at least half a dozen parties of more than 10 there, and the kitchen was able to keep up with it. We'd go again. For the quality and quantity, the prices were very reasonable.

My husband and I have eaten at Buttitta's more than once and we love it. The lasagna is our favorite. The creme brulee is amazing too!

If you go expecting the great food of the original Dom's, you'll be disappointed. When we arrived the hostess was short with us and rude. She seemed frazzled on a Wednesday evening - how will she handle a weekend crowd? No carafes of house wine or Chianti -- a $9.00 bottle of Ruffino Chianti is priced at $32.00! Menu items are all ala carte instead of including a nicely portioned salad and entree for a reasonable price. One bonus was that our waiter Jesse was very pleasant!
