Thank you for the news, Miriam, especially since Tonya, Whitney, Renee and the others will NOT tell their customers where Jennifer is doing hair now, they go so far as to lie and imply that something is "wrong" with Jennifer's health or that she may be coming back in the near future.......their lies vary and it has happened to me and a lot of people I know from around town. Allure is less concerned with their (former) or current clients feelings and is desperate to cover-up the issue of Jennifer and get you to book an appointment with them. It's downright unethical and wrong to LIE to costumers when they ask where a former designer is because that is whom they CHOOSE and PREFER to see. Allure Salon - tell the rest of us where Jennifer is - we know you know - and we find her from other people we know. Let US make up our minds about where we choose to go, whom we choose do our hair, and where we choose to spend our money. I will NEVER go back to Allure and there are many that feel the same way due to their ugly business practices. (there's so much more I, but won't get into detail here.) I just want to correct the phone number Miriam gave for JENNIFER @ INNU Salon - (217) 637-7245Once I found out that Jen has her own studio downtown, I immediately switched, as did many others.We are angry that we were lied to, spent inflated prices on mediocre services, just because we were led to believe that Jennifer was sick, or possibly coming back, etc.Tonya Hansen actually told a friend of mine that Jennifer has problems with her liver from drinking, or that Jennifer was drinking all the time. That is really twisted and odd because Tonya told me (during an appt I was conned into by their lies about Jen) that her own mother was dying of alcoholism. When I saw Jennifer last week, she was in perfect health both physically and mentally, in fact she was the best I'd ever seen her! She looks great and is clearly happier, her work is better than ever.About a month ago at the Tumble Inn, Tonya was drunk and telling people to get online and make fake appointments with Jennifer at her new hair salon. Single. White. Female.That's nice. Jen is a talented beautiful person raising a 3 year old. She and her partner know everyone in this town, I believe it ended with Tonya and her boyfriend getting kicked out of the bar. Nice. And this is the stylist that is supposed to "replace" Jennifer? NOT IN A MILLION YEARS!

Excellent place!! It is the perfect size for a very personalized service. There is a nice group of stylist. I am always very happy with the results.

I am a student at the university of miami and was looking for a good place to get my haircut around the coral gables area and allure was recommended to me, and I am very happy that it was! The place is very stylish and the hairstylist are awesome. My stylist was Juan and he did an amazing job. I just gave him a couple ideas of what I wanted and let him go from there and he did not disappoint. I loved the way my hair looked and I will continue to back to allure anytime I need a haircut!

I came into town for my class reunion, so I wanted my hair to look especially nice. Jennifer gave me one of the best colors I have EVER had! So natural and rich looking. The cut is really precise & easy to style too. I am soooo happy with my hair & had TONS of compliments on it!! Thanks, Jennifer!!!

Fabulous!! A great experience and a beautiful cut and color. I went to Allure after having tried many other salons in town. I saw Jennifer and she did extraordinary highlights and a cut that I love. All the women in this salon are friendly and the environment is comfortable and relaxed. I have never been so pleased with my hair! Jennifer really took her time with me, listened, and gave me a cut and color perfectly suited for my face. Highly recommend!!!

I just got the BEST hair cut of my life!!! Not to mention the gorgeous highlights I got yesterday at Allure Salon!! Fabulous!! This is a very nice place with great people, great coffee and great energy. I re-booked before I left and will be looking forward to my next appointment.

I just HAD to write another review today for Allure Salon! I had my hair done this morning and love it so much that I want to let everyone know! I have had compliments all day long - even from strangers! I was nervous about getting my hair done after so many mediocre experiences and someone recommended Allure. I saw Jennifer and she did a fantastic job. Really listened to what I wanted and my fears and she offered creative suggestions that worked so with my personal taste, face, coloring, etc. I have the cut I have always wanted and the color is absolutly beautiful. She didnt do a lot, just a few foils and some kind of shine treatment - a shimmer glaze I think. Gorgeous. It is exactly what I wanted!!Clearly they have had a lot of extensive training, very professional yet the atmosphere is comfortable - as in - not pretentious. Prices are moderate - not too high - but not cheap. I would have paid a lot more for what I got today. I booked 6 months out before I left.I HIGHLY r

This salon is established, professional, stylish and relaxed. The stylists are good and up-to-date. I always get good hair care tips from them and free samples on new products. We do my hair different for every season (I like change) and it has always been beautiful - reds in the fall - lowlights in the winter - blonde high lights in the summer - low lights AND highlights in the Spring....My hair CUT has always been perfect. I have very thick, difficult hair so I will get a razor cut a few times a year and get a lot of texture done. I have never been happier!!

She is very experienced, easy to talk with, listens and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. The way she cut my hair is different than anything I have ever had done before - she gave me a razor cut and also used scissors then she cut it again dry to make "seamless layers". I thought it was going to be really expensive but it was reasonable. I will definatly be back! Great place - easy parking too.

I hair looks GREAT. I am always nervous about trying new places, especially after a few bad experiences and I have never been happier with my hair! A friend of mine told me about Allure so I tried it. I got a great cut and she put some foils in the top and it looks gorgeous! She had so many great ideas for my hair and really listened to what I want and what style would fit me as a whole. The salon is smaller so I feel I got individualized attention and felt very comfortable throughout the process. Fun place - huge talent!

Great place!!! Very skilled, versitle, great consultation. Best cut and highlight/low light I have ever had. You cannot go wrong here - I think they have been around for about 20 years - very established, professional, up-to-date.
