The surrounding neighborhood as well as this facility are both filled with drug activity. The staff commonly preys upon the residents many of whom have difficulty discerning the malice intended. Units are in poor repair. On site case managers are untrained and indifferent to necessary care for the individuals living there. The facility receives funding from The State of Georgia, local businesses and individuals intending to assist the residents. All too often that goes out the back door in the hands of the staff - I watched it. There are no agencies to monitor the care given and methods of administration. I would not recommend this place to anyone who wanted to improve the quality or length of their life. It has been my observation that there is a 25-30% mortality rate from among their residents. For a transitional residence there are some that have lived there since it opened in 2000 and have no intention of changing. It panders to affluent addicts. Shame on you!!
