Hillendale Elementary School is located in Chadds Ford, Pa., and educates more than 370 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school offers a variety of academic courses, such as reading, science, social studies and mathematics. It offers gifted and special education programs. The school runs a reading support program to support those students who demonstrate the need for additional instruction in reading. It additionally conducts developmental guidance classes and offers speech, language, occupational and physical therapies. The school involves students in band, strings and chorus groups. It has a parent-teacher organization that conducts book fairs, holiday workshops, family science nights, staff appreciation luncheons, spring concerts and talent shows. Hillendale Elementary School is a part of the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District.
