Richard Gahr High School is a public institute serving more than 1,800 students in grades nine through 12. It offers a variety of academic and technology programs that include business, English, mathematics, social science, visual arts and science. The school provides power and industrial technology programs. It also offers programs in health and physical education. The school provides a program in Web designing that includes Macromedia DreamWeaver, Flash, and Fireworks. Its foreign language department offers courses in French, Japanese, Korean and Spanish. Richard Gahr High School has an athletics department offering various activities, such as badminton, basketball, football, soccer, golf, water polo and softball. The school provides counseling programs, including academics, and personal and social counseling. Richard Gahr High School is located in Cerritos, Calif.
