Mt. Nittany Overlook Event Center, formerly named Above the Valley Event Center, is owned by Chef Harrison Schailey and Kit Henshaw. This historic landmark has welcomed visitors since 1919. The first proprietor began selling snacks to travelers who often stopped to fill their radiators after the long, slow journey up the mountain. Today, this scenic venue offers an incomparable blend of breathtaking views, ample gathering spaces on three levels and award-winning food and beverage. Guests are surrounded by spectacular views outside virtually every window, sun porch, deck and walkways on the summit of Mt. Nittany in Centre County, PA, just 12 miles from downtown State College.
