Gary did a great job on my inspections! He saved me money on the first house I was looking at, which needed a new roof badly. The 2nd house was a success, with minor defects. He walked me through both inspections and was very thorough; checking electrical, plumbing, doors, windows, roof, crawlspaces, ceilings, walls, and floors,inside and out, nothing was left unchecked. I had my home inspected by Gary smith himself on a Saturday morning. He was extremely informative on what he was looking for and also gave me tips on how to do preventive maintenance on this house. Gary did a good job for us, and was thorough in the report. Having family in the construction trade, we often find things that most home inspectors over look. My previous experience was that this was a requirement by the bank, and we had to hold an inspectors hand to get them to mark down issues. Gary had all of the same issues we found marked out, photographed, and documented. This ensured that the sale process goes from our opinion to what he presents as the facts on the purchase. The inspector did a great job. I give him my highest recommendation. He checked everything carefully, very professional. He spent about 3.5 hours on my house. He found many defects of the house. I would definitely hire him next time. This is not the first time I bought a house. He is the best inspector I ever had. He crawled in the crawl space for quite a long time and found quite some problems which had never been discovered by the previous inspection done by the current owner of that house. If you want to buy a house, definitely hire him to avoid future loss.

Gary Smith is very thorough and great at explaining everything from top to bottom. We were under a short time frame to get the inspection done around a holiday and Gary was able to get us in the schedule within a day and even came back to do a radon test for us.
