College Community Schools offers educational opportunities to more than 4,200 students from Linn, Benton and Johnson counties in Iowa. The district governs an early childhood center and elementary, high and middle schools. Its schools curricula include reading, math, science and language arts. The district s middle school operates a band, chorus, and chess and yearbook clubs. Its schools maintain parent-teacher organizations and offer English Language Learners and Title I programs. The district operates Prairie High School, which serves over 1,100 students in grades 9 through 12. Its schools offer a variety of sports activities, including basketball, wrestling, soccer, golf, tennis and baseball. College Community Schools additionally provides transportation and food services.
