My boyfriend applied for a job and after two months of waiting finally got to the point where he was hired contingent on his physical being satisfactory. He goes to the Work Well Clinic and is told he has 20/20 vision and no depth perception, as in none...... The woman is then shocked that he is able to drive and asks him if he runs into things a lot. His response is "no." He then asks her if the equipment could be faulty, because he drives and functions just fine. She informs him "there is no problems with the equipment." He then of course fails his physical and almost loses the job until he shell's out $50 out of pocket to go for a eye exam, has 6 depth perception checks performed and his depth perception is perfect. Thanks for almost costing him the job and the $50.... maybe next time when something does not seem right, instead of assuming your equipment is perfect take your patient's word for it and check it!
