General Info

10 hour, CHL-100 (Concealed Handgun License) certificate classes are offered multiple times a month. Ladies only classes are also available. Courses are taught by Texas DPS licensed instructors. Enjoy the included breakfast when you arrive for class in the morning, learn about Basic gun operation and marksmanship and Texas firearm related laws. Then we sit down to a working lunch (also included in your tuition) and afterwards head out to the range for your shooting practical. Range fees are also included in your tuition. After the range, we head back to the classroom and learn more about Texas Gun Laws, Nonviolent Dispute Resolution & Gun Safety. By the time you leave that night, you will have earned the CHL-100 certificate required to get a Concealed Handgun License in Texas. For those who would like some beginner's level instruction on how to operate a firearm, we offer a short Introduction to Firearms course that will get you up to speed.Firearms are available for rent.
